Patrik Müller was born in Schorndorf near Stuttgart in 1975. He graduated from school (Abitur) with a major in musical education. Then he began his studies at the Mittenwald School of Violin Making.
In 1999 he graduated with distinction (Bayerischer Staatspreis) and started working for Master Luthier Andreas Augustin in Staufen (Germany) from 1999 to 2008. During that period he gained rich experience in making new violins, violas and cellos, restoration and sound adjustments.
He passed the examination to become a Master Violin Maker in Munich in 2005. In 2008, Patrik Müller opened his own workshop in Stuttgart-West where he mainly creates copies of classical Italian instruments.
Furthermore Patrik Müller has been an active member of several orchestras for many years.
